Love yourself

QLU project
loving yourself is a priority

Your relationship with you is the most intimate one you’ll have in this lifetime. The more you love yourself, the more you can focus your energy specifically on the greater good. Love yourself even if it doesn’t seem natural, and you’ll be a conduit for higher energy. Treat those around you in the same way you wish to be treated. It is time to show the higher part of yourself. You can easily detach and see the big picture in each situation. To move forward, you must exude higher energy, because what you give out is what you receive. So check in with yourself and take inventory to ensure that you are treating others with fairness and compassion.

Search through your life and determine if there is anything (or anyone ) you are rejecting. Accepting your life completely is the best thing you can do for yourself now. While this may not be easy or even seem right, know that you simply cannot change everything you do not like, and certain things must be tolerated in this lifetime. Ask the angels to bring you strength and comfort to make letting go and accepting easier.

So if we take this as our mission to love ourselves, most of us have a hard time doing so. We are not taught that loving yourself is a priority. Neither are we taught the importance of it. Most nations are more oriented in a traditional manner that it is selfish, egoistic or worse ego centered. Not to mention the fact that we live in a masculine-oriented society worldwide. Most of us are living in a nation where politics and religion find their ground in the role of the male authority. Or we are being taught about being born with guilt and need redemption to be saved. There are so many ways we are being taught to see the world in a specific way seen through the eyes and authority of dualism.

Love as a compass and ultimately loving yourself is not taught by many teachers all over the world. Neither are their many teachers who will hold the connection we have with Nature and the world as a part of ourselves. The vision is changing though even if you do not see it on the news, or in the way the nations are being ruled. Through diversity, most of us are less at ease with ourselves. In order to meet a certain image that is required or expected from us, we have no priority to love ourselves as number one on the agenda. Yet how come it is most religions and values we honor, are speaking of love. Love each other, be in service of the other or the community. We hold dear to the human rights, yet sometimes it seems it is going overboard by tyranny and domination.

Suppression of people leads to fear and terror. Not to love and compassion. It will bring up the issue of difference, power, and abuse of power. Those who hold power in order to suppress for money or gaining freedom through fear. We are not talking about respect when you are forced to fit in some kind of model, which is not for the benefit of all. So what does it take, in order to learn that loving yourself is for most the important thing to do to be the best of who you can be. We only can thrive in a surrounding that is safe and peaceful. We also need to learn that every act we do as an individual has its own repercussion on those around us. That means we also need to learn, to take responsibility and own the deeds and intentions we have and have been doing.

Isn’t it told and taught over and over: treat the other the way you wish to be treated. The values that spring from love are compassion, kindness, consideration, acceptance, not judging. Freedom of speech and freedom of religion are also part of these human rights. As article 1 describes:

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. And sisterhood I want to add.

You can write a series of articles just by taking the articles one by one as a topic. Yet I want to address the importance of loving yourself by treating yourself the way you wish others to treat you. Each and every soul has one desire, to be loved. All our lives are pointed out towards a strong and loving relationship. In any form, I might add. Because it is important in the way we are being raised in our family, our society, our communion, our nation, our neighbors or neighbor nations, up to the scale in the world society and our relationship between each other nationwide.
